Already folks are talking about our next meetings in Milwaukee & Ottawa. Both fun and interesting places. Fortunately there is no end to the significant issues that face those in the field of public history for these are indeed challenging times. What is the role of the public historian in assisting the public decipher our contentious world? There is no better place to engage in that discussion then here at NCPH's meeting in Pensacola. A good starting point is to check out Professor Bill Cronin's travails as the historian looking at the recent events in Wisconsin.
Off to do some service work at Fort Pickens.
